He is survived by: his wife Marlene Gable; his son James William; his daughter-in-law Belinda Gable; his son Jerry Augustus Gable; his grandchildren, Clark Gable, Devin (Cheryl Gable), Tasha Hicks, Colt (Caroline Gable) and Brooke (Nik Medlock); and his sisters, Ida Mae Tanner of Gainesville, Peggy Haynes of Gainesville, Hazel Craven of Gainesville, Martha Tow of Gainesville and Billie Young of Gainesville. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
