She was predeceased by: her father Robert Pruitt; her sons, Roger Gilstrap and Kenneth Gilstrap; her siblings, Lois Gooch, Mamie Sutton and Lonnie Pruitt; and her son-in-law Mitchell Greenway.
She is survived by: her husband J. C. Gilstrap of Murrayville; her children, Larry Gilstrap of Dahlonega, Joyce Anderson of Cleveland, Vickie Carpenter (Harold) of Dahlonega, Ricky Gilstrap (Lynn) of Murrayville, Allen Gilstrap (Lesha) of Lumpkin County and Connie Grizzle (Rodney J.) of Gainesville; her siblings, Pauline Bryan, Lawrence Pruitt and Jeanette Barnes; and her grandchildren, Candy Bennett (Larry), Amanda Finley (Luke), Scott Greenway (Sarah), Jessica Clark (Joshua), Matthew Greenway (Heather), Crystal Abernathy (Marty), Dustin Carpenter (Kiley), April Strickland (Sterling), Stephanie Gilstrap, Keven Gilstrap, Ashley Hamilton (Cody), Blake Grizzle (Elizabeth) and Joshua Grizzle (Makayla). She is also survived by twenty-four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
