He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Betts and Geraldine Betts; his daughter Danielle Betts; and his siblings, Genevieve Betts, Linda and Daniel Betts.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Mallory Betts; his children, Tina Matthewson, Amber Swain, John Betts, Colin Betts, Brandon Moore and Fawn; and his sisters, Roberta Conklin and Sheri Betts. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
