He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Coe and Mary Emma Clay Coe; his sons, Thomas Coe and Buster Coe; his stepdaughter Candis Parker; and his siblings, Jesse Coe, Lovell Coe, Curtis Coe, James Coe, Eddie B. Coe, Ruby Coe, Lily Mae Coe and Berta Mae Coe.
He is survived by: his wife Gale Parker Coe of Mountain City; his daughters, Teresa Combs (Danny) of Jackson, Wanda "Squeaky" Davis (James "Squash") of Blairsville, Christina Smith (Mark) of Newington and Mandy Mantle (Kenneth); his brother J. P. Coe of Woodbury, Georgia; and his stepchildren, Wayne Parker (Ashley), Missy Parker and Chrissy Faulkner. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
