She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Monroe Williams and Clastelle Horsley Williams; her husband Carl Eugene "Gene" Gibson; and her siblings, Clara Williams, Alice Smith, Billie Brittain, Pat Vaughn, Hazel Jacobs, Dudley Williams and Delmer Williams.
She is survived by: her children, James Eugene Gibson (Lytha) of Ranburne, AL and Shirley Spannknebel (Mark) of Big Canoe, GA; her grandchildren, Jade Gibson Lovvorn (Justin), Amber Gibson Spradlin (Casey), John (Tayler Spannknebel) and Kari (Damion Ninkovic); her great grandchildren, Autumn Lovvorn, Brody Lovvorn, Reese Lovvorn, Summer Spradlin, Natalie Spannknebel, Jack Spannknebel and Andja Ninkovic; her sister Lucille Ivey of Mobile, AL; and her brother-in-law Donald Brittain of Douglasville.
