He is survived by: his wife Frankie Sheriff Whitaker of Mt. Vernon; his children, Tony Michael Whitaker of Mt. Vernon, Larry Whitaker (Terri) of Dan Ridge and Sonja Whitaker of Jackson; his sister Vera King of Ailey; his grandchildren, Larry, Chasity, Joshua, Justin and Shell Bell; and his great grandchildren, Logan, Reagan, Lexi, Little Josh and Zoie.
