She was predeceased by: her father Benjamin Franklin "B. F." Payton; and her brother Scott Payton. She is survived by: her husband Kris "Cozmo" Dowdy of Mt. Vernon; her children, Kristopher R. Dowdy (Macy) of Kite, Montana Jade Dowdy of Mt. Vernon and Autumn Dowdy (Parker Harris); her granddaughter Violet Dowdy of Kite; her mother Sandy Johnson Payton of Soperton; and her brother Ashley B. Payton (Amanda).
