She was predeceased by: her parents, Lyman Hightower and Lezellia Hightower; her husband Mike Strickland; and her siblings, Earl Hightower, Nathan Hightower and Cathy Hightower.
She is survived by: her children, Temple Hance (James) of Mt. Vernon, Michael Chris Strickland (Chelen) of Augusta, Tommy Willingham of Texas and Shannon Summerlin (Chris) of Texas; her grandchildren, Nathan Hance, Rebecca Jace (Devin), Anna Hance, Logan Strickland, Tanner Strickland, Alex Willingham, Kennedy Willingham, Samantha Summerlin, Rory Summerlin, Isabella Summerlin and Ashton Summerlin; and her siblings, Greg Hightower (Cindy), Lynn Meacham (Tommy) and Lisa Hightower. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
