He is survived by: his pet Tiny; his wife Gaynell Matheson Phillips of Mount Airy, GA; his daughters, Loretta (Allen Shedd) and Billie Jo (Duval Carter); and his sister Jean Smith of Westminster, SC. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, & 2 great-great grandchildren; a host of other relatives, & friends.
