He was predeceased by: his father Billy Allen Dodd. He is survived by: his mother Betty Sue Smith Dodd of Mt. Airy, GA; his wife Kathy Darlene Watkins Dodd of Mt. Airy; his children, Melinda Wilson of Marietta, GA, Kathy Almond (John) of Mt. Airy, GA, Brian Dodd of Martin, GA and Londan Dodd of Toccoa; and his siblings, Teresa Hanson (Rodney), Donna Frady, Daniel Dodd (Rhonda), Tony Dodd (Annie) and William Dodd (Jennie). He is also survived by six grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Whitlock Mortuary, Inc. (120 Rose Ln, Toccoa, GA 30577). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 at the Stephens Memorial Gardens (3650 GA-17, Toccoa, GA 30577).
