He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul McConnell and Emma Cash McConnell; and his siblings, Paul McConnell, Jr., Frank McConnell, Willie Mae McConnell and Betty Jean Underwood.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lois McConnell of Mt. Airy, Annie Loudermilk of Mt. Airy, Mable McAllister of Mt. Airy, Tommy Lee McConnell of Cornelia and William McConnell of Clarkesville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
