With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gladys Velma Marsengill of Mount Airy, Georgia, who passed away on July 8, 2023 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband B. C. Marsengill; her parents, Henry Thomas and Velma Thomas; her sons, Frank Marsengill and Michael Marsengill; and her siblings, Henry Louis Thomas Jr., Cary Welborn Thomas, Quintin Roosevelt Thomas, Charles L Thomas, Violet Thomas Dodd, Ida Thomas Smith, Blanch Thomas Dickerson, Nellie Thomas King and Winnie Thomas Scroggs.
She is survived by: her sons, Ronald Marsengill (Betty) of Mt. Airy, GA and Tim Marsengill of Mt. Airy, GA; and her siblings, William Harold Thomas of Tallulah Falls and Sarah Thomas Martino of Myrtle Beach, SC.. She is also survived by five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
