She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladston Terrell and Gussie Mae Alexander Franklin; her husband Wallace Edward "Wally" Owens; and her siblings, Terrell Franklin and Brenda Franklin James.
She is survived by: her sons-in-law, Kami Owens Ferguson (Greg) of Cornelia, GA and Kelley Owens of Charleston, SC; her grandchildren, Chelsea Pendrey, Andrew Ferguson, Ryan Kelley and Spencer Ferguson; and her great grandchildren, Harper, Everleigh and Reagan.
