He was predeceased by: his father James Eugene Sosebee; his great grandchild Ava Marie Green; and his siblings, David Sosebee and Jennie McCallister. He is survived by: his mother Gaynell Shockley Sosebee Hooper of Demorest; his wife Donna Ann Freeman Sosebee; his children, Donald "D. J." Eugene Sosebee, Jr. (Marlena Irvin Sosebee) of Demorest, Joanie Grace Sosebee (James Faulk) of Demorest and Donna Deanne Green (Jonathan) of Cornelia; and his siblings, Ronnie Sosebee of Gainesville, Doug Sosebee of Homer, Johnny Sosebee of Clarkesville, Glenn Sosebee of Mt. Airy and Peggy Aguilar of Demorest. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
