It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wynton Striplin of Moultrie, Georgia, born in Colquitt, Georgia, who passed away on March 13, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Lafayette Striplin and Berline Cooper Striplin; his wife Doris Florence Yarbrough Striplin; and his son Toney Dewayne Striplin. He is survived by: his daughter Patricia Ann Ricks of Moultrie, GA; his grandchildren, Alaina Elizabeth Ricks of Albany, GA, Kayla Renee Giddens and Justin of Ashburn, GA; his great grandchild Brynn Elizabeth Ricks; his siblings, Glenda Schanbacher, John of Tallahassee, FL, Judy Isreal and Danny of Raleigh, NC; and his close friend Norma Jean Daniel of Pavo, GA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members and friends.
