He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Simpson and Peggy Simpson of Columbus, Ohio.. He is survived by: his wife Debra Jane Cagle Simpson; his children, Margaret Ivey Simpson and Colby Cagle Simpson (Christie Jones Simpson); his grandchildren, Wilder Grace Simpson and Arlo Jones Simpson; his sisters, Susan Jane Simpson and Nancy Simpson Hodgson; and his nephew Simon Hodgson.
