It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Hoyle Pitchford (Moultrie, Georgia), who passed away on September 1, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Walter Hoyle Pitchford; his wife Betty Jane Pitchford; and his siblings, Walter Van Pitchford, Elizabeth Crosby, Gladys Rylie, Nellie Pitchford and Lila Schmaker.
He is survived by: his parent Eva Maude Whitfield Pitchford; his brother Harry Slocumb Pitchford (Marie) of Valdosta; his nephew Tommy Crosby of Florida; and his close friends, Julia Johnston, Thomas E., Charlotte Brown, David Lewis, Vivian Lewis and LeAnn Littleton.
