He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Absen Creel and Nellie Hughes Creel; his wife Joyce Causey Creel; his sons, William David Creel, Jr. and Wayne Causey Creel; and his siblings, Eugene Creel, Buddy Creel, Mike Creel and Reba Nelms.
He is survived by: his daughter Dedra Creel Varnadoe (Baird) of Moultrie; his grandchildren, Skipper Varnadoe (Abby) of Crawfordville and Kylie Varnadoe Haughton (Parker) of Moultrie; his great grandchildren, Bailyn and James Haughton; and his siblings, Larry Creel (Jean) of Chula, June Meadows of Albany, Faye Sherrod of Fitzgerald and Regina Patterson of Scooterville.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Baker Funeral Home (2222 GA-37, Moultrie, GA 31788). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 18th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
