He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Gaines Mims of Moultrie; his sons, James Steven Mims, Marsha Mercer Mims of Moultrie and David Wesley Mims of Moultrie; his grandchildren, Heath Mercer Mims, Jameson Colt Mims, Wesley Ryan Mims (Wes), Lesley Ann, Scott Davison Mims and Conner Grant Mims; and his great grandchildren, Ryder Weston Mims, Bella Kate Mims, Talyn Reid Mims, Charlott Rose Mims and Slade Ryan Mims.
