He is survived by: his parent Fern Elliot Hill; his wife Mary M. Wyland Hill of Moultrie; and his children, Douglas L. Hill (Becky) of Walkerton, James L. Hill of Moultrie, Garry A. Hill (Darlyn) of Doerun, David W. Hill (Pam) of Funston and Dona M. Hill of Moultrie. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
