She was predeceased by: her parents, Oklen James Carroll and Wanna Lee Webb Thomas; her daughter Veronica Hughes Amador; and her siblings, James Lee Carroll (Barbara), William Jerome Carroll and Shirley Carroll Glasgow.
She is survived by: her grandson Paul R. Hughes, III (Dale Hughes); her great grandchildren, Skylar Olivia Hughes and Paul Rylan Hughes; her siblings, Wayne Carroll (Bonnie), Al Whittington (Barbara) and Vickie Sellers (Leon); and her sister-in-law Margaret Carroll. She is also survived by several nieces, nephew and other extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Cobb Funeral Chapel (2441 Camilla Hwy, Moultrie, GA 31768). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calendar Cobb Funeral Chapel (2441 Camilla Hwy, Moultrie, GA 31768).
