He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Owen Griffin and Nettie Lou Hood Griffin; and his parents-in-law, Rev. J. B. Benefield and Lorene Benefield. He is survived by: his wife Betty Benefield Griffin; his children, Peggy Harrell (Cecil), Debbie Cannon (Craig), Darrell Griffin (Kerry) and Dwayne Griffin (Tina); his grandchildren, Craig Harrell, Katina, Mark Harrell, Heather Richman, Andy, Rob Cannon, Logan, Thomas Griffin, Malone, Natalie Griffin, Olivia Griffin, Ryan Bass, Liz, Zach Griffin, Emily and Garett Griffin; and his sisters, Carolyn Clark and Joan Marshall. He is also survived by ten greatgrandchildren.
