He is survived by: his children, Lane Smith (Monty) of Poland, GA and Zach Fender of Pavo; his grandchildren, Jack Coker, Makalah Smith and Keaton Smith; his siblings, Sissy Johnson (Tom), Charlotte Sizemore of Funston, Joey Pope (Kathy) of Moultrie and Jerome Pope of Moultrie; and his close friends, Darrell King and Tom Cauley. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
