It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Terry Cooper of Moultrie, Georgia, born in Pavo, Georgia, who passed away on July 21, 2021, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Ernest Cooper and Betty Phillips Smith; and his wife Peggy Herring Cooper. He is survived by: his children, Cindy Cooper (Andy Valencia) and Gene Cooper (Judy); his grandchildren, Evan Hurley (Audrey), Madison Merritt and Jessica Jackson; his great grandchildren, Alana, Beau and Ariana; and his siblings, Judy Bales of Moultrie, Pat Gay (Frankie) of Moultrie, Betty Jo Puckett of Nashville, GA, Steve Cooper of Moultrie and Rusty Cooper (Wanda) of Moultrie.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Colquitt County Humane Society or the charity of choice.
