He is survived by: his daughter Gabrielle Matthews Darrison (Tarrell) of New Jersey; his siblings, Deacon Charles Matthews (Elizabeth) of Norman Park, Leon Matthews (Shirley) of Atlanta, Evelyn Matthews Flowers of New York and Helen Matthews Harrison of Norman Park; and also Norene Matthews. He is also survived by six grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
