He is survived by: his wife Jane Gay Spells of Moultrie; his children, Stacie Wilson Petty (Joey) of Nashville, William Eric Weaver (Lori) of Moultrie, Terri Denise Spells of Moultrie, Roger Dale Dean Jr. of Moultrie and Starlyn Kerri Bullard (Scotty) of Moultrie; and his siblings, Donald Eugene Spells (Melanie) of Tallahassee and Theresa Marie Staines (Charles) of Ray City. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
