She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Alcala and Maria Alcala; and her husband Ernest Venet Sr.. She is survived by: her friend Ernest Venet; her sons, Ernie and Ernest Venet, Jr. (Teresa); her stepson Miguel Venet (Eida); her grandchildren, Lana Venet Salter (Lee), Ernest "Chip" Venet III (Emily), Michael Venet (Ryan), Sandra Venet Gonzales, Nylsa Venet Miranda, Michael Ernest Venet and Jayson Venet; and her great grandchildren, Ava Camille Venet, Maya Olivia Salter, Braden Michael Venet, John Tate Salter, Kate Arlette Venet, William Beck Salter and Noah Alexander Venet-Kool.
