Shelby Jean Nelms Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 31, 2025, at the age of 80, Shelby Jean Nelms of Moultrie, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Franklin Nelms and Jessie Belle Kierce Nelms; her brothers, Junior Lee Nelson Nelms, Lummie Dewitt Nelms and Sydney Eugene Nelms; her brother-in-law Douglas Day; her niece Jessica Amanda Gutierrez; and her nephew Dewitt Nelms.
She is survived by: her sister Betty Jean Nelms Day of Moultrie; and her nieces and nephews, Brinda Young, Geneva Willeby, Mellissa Smallwood, Douglas Nelms and Randall Nelms.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Baker Funeral Home (2222 GA-37, Moultrie, GA 31788). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
