She was predeceased by: her parents, Braxton Craven Gibson and Sarah Faircloth Gibson; her former husband Wilbur Jay Jackson; her husband Robert Joines; and her siblings, Braxton C. Gibson, Wilburn Gibson, Frank Gibson, Bert Gibson and Dorothy Kelly.

She is survived by: her children, Joel Jackson (Donna) of Panama City, Florida and Karen Jackson of Moultrie, Georgia; her grandchildren, Kacey Bowen, Katey Jackson and Anita Marie Jackson; and her great grandchildren, Bryson, Lorna, Ellie, Soren and Kyro.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704.
