He was predeceased by: his parents, Zuber Spear "Toby" Palmer and Marcelle Dekle Palmer; and his brother Troy Palmer. He is survived by: his wife Carol Matthews Palmer; his children, Neali Inmon (Jason) and Toby Palmer (Sara); his foster son Daniel Hopper; his grandchildren, Matthew A. Long (Kyra), Kelly Joy Stovall (Ty), Lainey Johnston (Webb), Rob Palmer, Jackson Palmer and Lucas Palmer; his great grandchildren, Silas Stovall and Phillip Stovall; his siblings, Paul Palmer (Sue) and Kathy Palmer; and his sister-in-law Gail Palmer. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
