He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Daniel Stephenson and Sara Yates Stephenson; his daughter Tammy Stephenson Clayton; and his sisters, Sue Carol Duran, Norma Harrell and Reba Stanford.
He is survived by: his wife Melba Stephenson; his sons, Derric Stephenson (Paula) and Rodney Stephenson; his grandchildren, Layton Stephenson (Suzanne), Grayson Gandy, Hayden Gandy and Ryan Hall; and his sister Linda Sullivan. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Calendar Pine Grove Baptist Church (4103 Bay Rockyford Rd, Moultrie, GA 31768). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
