He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cato Covington and Lee Ida Coston Covington; his wife Betty Ruth Hayes; and his siblings, Milton, Winston, Sandy, Randolph, Corriner Walker, Mary Jackson and Lee Ida Caver.
He is survived by: his son Rev. Victor E. Covington (Jennifer); his granddaughter Angeline; and his brother William Covington of Detroit, MI. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
