She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Richter and Mervin Madell Perkins Richer; her son Marvin Wesley Byrd; her siblings, LeRoy Legrant Richter and Elaine Richter Bruce; her brother-in-law Jerry Bruce; and her parents-in-law, Dorothy "Dot" and Marvin Byrd.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Edward Byrd of Moultrie; her sons, Gary Wayne Byrd, Sr. (Pam) of Creedmoor, NC, Kevin Edward Byrd of Moultrie and Larry Brian Byrd (Tori Cobb) of Moultrie; her grandchildren, Gary, Jr., Josh, Morgan, Justin, Dagan, Saxton, Benjamin, Torrian, Braxton, Lainey, Kaden, Dewitt, Saylor and Brilan; her great grandchild Maddie; her siblings, Joann Richter Muse (Jerry) of Moultrie and John Lester Richter (Martha) of Eatonton, GA; and her sisters-in-law, Kathy Richter and Charlotte Byrd.
