She was predeceased by: her parents, Raiford Ricks and Fannie Blackburn Ricks; her husband Don Vincent Minchew, Jr.; and her siblings, Dorothy Lee Hancock, Betty Joann Herndon, John Ricks, Eugene Clifford Ricks, George Thomas Ricks and Raymond Ray Ricks.
She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Pope, Dewayne Ricks (Renae), Christopher Barden and Donna Gray; and her siblings, Randy Ricks, Roy Ricks, Wanda Herndon, Mary Alice Simmons and Cathy Bass. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Baker Funeral Home & Crematory (2222 GA-37, Moultrie, GA 31788). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
