She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Jim" Robert Tanner and Annie Mae Jones Tanner; her husband Raymond Lee Sloan; her son Donnie Wandell Sloan; and her siblings, Clarence Tanner, Henry Tanner, Benny Tanner, Horace Tanner, Wilburn Tanner and Thelma Tanner McDonald.
She is survived by: her sons, Jimmy Randall Sloan (Joann) of Moultrie and Raymond Lavon Sloan (Leah) of Moultrie; her daughter-in-law Carole Sloan; and her grandchildren, Selina Sloan Bivins (Keven), Ray Sloan (Monica), David Sloan (Jackie), Jimmy Sloan, Jr. (Shelley), Shellie Harrison (Justin), Stacie McDaniel (Jamie), Alison Williams, Blake Gay (Katie), Brandon Gay (Kendra) and Beau Gay. She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
