It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Ann Southerland Sherman of Moultrie, Georgia, born in Berlin, Georgia, who passed away on July 23, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Augustus Southerland and Ida Belle Coleman Southerland; her husband Wesley Sherman of Connecticut; and her siblings, Eugene Southerland, Donald Southerland and Dorothy Bell.
She is survived by: her children, Julia Sherman of New Bern, NC, Wesley "Beau" Sherman (Sherri) of Moultrie and Rev. Eugene Sherman (Kimberly) of Avon Lake, OH; her grandchildren, John Koskinen (Morgan) of Fayetteville, NC, Rebecca Hampe (George) of New York, NY, Zackery Sherman (Mary) of Stow, OH, Benjamin Sherman (Amy) of Elyria, OH, Daniel Sherman (Marissa) of St. Clair Shores, MI, Jacob Sherman of Herndon, VA, Paige Odom (Justin) of Tifton and Brooke Walton (Brian) of Moultrie; and her niece Donna Martin (Richard) of Moultrie. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
