He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Lane Jones and Blanche Jenkins Jones; and his siblings, Boyd Lane Jones, Jr., Mildred Jones Hobbs, Nell Jones Stripling, Thomas S. Jones, Joy Jones Cone and Ben Oran Jones.
He is survived by: his significant other Barbara Bell Jones; his children, Gina Jones Moses (Billy) of Dublin, GA, Jill Jones Doyle (Joe) of Ponte Vedra, Fla, Lynn Loran Jones, Jr. (Kelly) of Moultrie and Amy Jones Gay (Bent) of Dublin, GA; and his grandchildren, Paige Moses Smalley (Will), Claire Moses Drummond (Justin), Maggie Moses Kelley (Walter), William Moses, Nick Doyle, Ellie Doyle Baumer (Max), Lynn Jones, III (Leah), Braxton Jones, Jud Jones, Katherine Jones, Amelia Gay, J. B. Gay and Carly Gay. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and a number of special nieces and nephews.
