It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta Jordan Lewis of Moultrie, Georgia, born in Colquitt, Georgia, who passed away on January 10, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hattie Frances (Giles) and George Robert Jordan; her husband William Matthew "Bill" Lewis; her siblings, Waylon, George, Ernest, Eugene Jordan and Mary Pauline Brannon; and her daughter Robbie Green.
She is survived by: her brother J. Burrell Jordan (Pauline); her children, Elaine Lester (Paul), Helen Whitney and Robert "Bobby" Lewis (Junelle); her son-in-law Jerry Green; and her grandchildren, Wayne Green (Trudi), Susan Hagin (Darrell), David Green, Timothy Lester (Nancy), Jonathan Lester (Angie), Lee Causey (David), Matthew Lester (Treska), Angie Roberts (Brad), Stephen Lester, Grant Whitney (Radford), Rob Lewis (Heather), Jessica Lewis, Blake Whitney and Amy Shaw (Michael). She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter, 5 step-great-grandchildren, and 9 step-great-great grandchildren.
No public services are scheduled at this time due to COVID precautions.
