She was predeceased by: her parents, L. C. Pye and Verna Mae Redmond Melancon; her siblings, Ronnie Pye, Cheryl Tyson and Mary Anne Prickett; and her nephew Chael Tyson.
She is survived by: her children, Reese Welch of Tallahassee, Roxie Clark (Brian) of Tallahassee, Rebecca Porter (Denver) of Tallahassee and Danielle Harvell of Tallahassee; her grandchildren, Cooper, Baley, Peyton, Summer, Riley, Reesa, Tyler, Sarah, Taylor, Luke, Darci, Vince and Mya; and her sister Carole Morgan. She is also survived by her fur babies; several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends.
