She was predeceased by: her parents, J. B. Young and Bertie Williams O'Hearn; her son James Edwin Williams; her grandson David Turner; and her child Coco.

She is survived by: her children, Kathy Williams Torres (Oscar) of Cairo, Karen Williams Anderson (Mark) of Coolidge, Lee Godfrey (Mark) of Moultrie, Dena Lee (Kevin) of Colquitt and Jerry Williams (Tereasa Baker) of Thomasville; her grandchildren, Gene Harris, Owen Harris, William Harris, Kaitlan Harris-Wyers, Candice Harrell, Amanda Hinson of Hanna Scarborough, E. J, Jerry Williams, Jr., Lauren Williams, Holly Tyson, Daniel Harrell, Sara Godfrey, Dallas Baker, Dakota Baker, Jenny Baker, Abby Williams, Nikki Williams and James Williams; and her siblings, Jerry Young of Norman Park and Carol Snell (Freddie) of Dothan, AL.. She is also survived by twenty-seven great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
