He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas Baker and Vera Pauline Flowers Baker; his brother Morris David Baker; and his brothers-in-law, Dewey Cobb and Hilton Hiers.
He is survived by: his sister Linda Baker Cobb Hiers of Moultrie; his sister-in-law Barbara Sue Deen Baker of Tifton, Georgia; his nieces, Cynthia Sue Baker Gillis of Dublin and Selena Lynn Baker Johns (Joshua) of Tifton, Georgia; and his great-nieces, Sara Faith Johns, Ellie Claire Johns, Gracie Leigh Johns and Jenna Rebecca Kapfer (Jon). He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
