He is survived by: his wife Debra "Debby" Stripling Whitley of Moultrie; his children, Richie Sloan of Moultrie, Shae Sloan Suber (Michael) of Kathleen and Lyndsey Whitley Harrell (Michael) of Atlanta, Georgia; his grandchildren, Bricelyn Sloan, Chance Suber (Miriam), Caelyn Suber and Pate Suber; his great grandchildren, Camila Suber and Amelia Suber; his pet Briggs Whitley; and also Annie Ludden.
