He was predeceased by: his wife Ruby Collier Ferguson; his son Willis Ferguson; his grandchildren, Camille Ferguson and Kyle Ferguson; his brothers, James Ferguson, Walter "Bo" Ferguson and Thomas Ferguson; and his daughter-in-law Judy Ferguson.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Ferguson of Moultrie, Gerald Ferguson (Brenda) of Astell Springs, TN, Jerry Ferguson (Debbie) of Moultrie, Bobby Ferguson of Moultrie and Gayle Whitehead of Tallahasee. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
