Kevin Abie Giddens Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kevin Abie Giddens of Moultrie, Georgia, born in Hawkinsville, Georgia, who passed away on June 19, 2024 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his mother Catherine Busbee Giddens of Cochran; his wife Lynn Smith Giddens of Moultrie; his children, Shannon Lee Giddens and Bryce Abie Giddens (Lexie Wiggins); his grandchildren, Baylor Michelle Giddens and Bo Abie Giddens; and his sisters, Joan Shipley (Don) and Janet Davis (Butch). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members and friends.
"I have told Kevin and Robin Hines that their leadership (at the GHSA) during the Covid year, maintaining the football playoff schedule without missing a game, was remarkable," Hughes said.
