She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard H. Gregory and Minnie Powers Gregory; her husband Hilliard Staten Smith; her siblings, Eugene Gregory and Elsie Gregory Krietner of Belleville, Illinois; and her granddaughter Rhonda Smith of Moultrie.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Smith (Debra) of Moultrie, Dorathy Smith Weaver (Van) of Moultrie and Steve Smith of Sylvester; and her sisters, Patsy Dees and Virginia Williamson of Belleville, Illinois. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren.
