He is survived by: his daughters, Traci Kirkland (Durward Lastinger) of Hahira and Kimberly Carter (Robert); his grandchildren, Cambria Clifton, Laura Kirkland, Bailey Kirkland, Logan Johnson, Gracie Huston and Asher Merritt; his sister Julie Tanner of Texas; his niece Debra Williams of Texas; and his close friend Ronnie Wilkes.
