With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Lee Blackburn Jr. of Moultrie, Georgia, born in Colquitt, Georgia, who passed away on February 28, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lee Blackburn, Sr. and Dovie Giles Blackburn; and his siblings, Melvin "Buddy" Blackburn and Grace B. Weldon. He is survived by: his child Jackie L. James; his son-in-law Wes (John Wayne Blackburn) of Moultrie; his sister Geneva Walker Perkins; his brother-in-law Robert (Carolyn Trammell) of Moultrie; and his grandchildren, Shannon Lee Curles, Jessie Christopher Cox and Takayla May. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren and other family members.
