She was predeceased by : her husband James M. Deal; her son Gene Deal; her parents, Claudis Dunn and Lorene Dunn (Alderman); and her brother Don L. Dunn.

She is survived by : her children, Teresa Deal Porter (Bruce), Randy Deal (Melody) of Moultrie, GA. and Steve Deal of Moultrie; her grandchildren, Misty Packard (Carlos), Scott Porter, Joshua Deal, Matthew Deal (Kimberli), Randi Turner (Blake), Steven Deal and Albert Deal (Teresa); and her siblings, James Dunn (Eve) and Peggy Hatcher. She is also survived by nine Great Grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, July 5th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Cobb Funeral Chapel (2441 Camilla Hwy, Moultrie, GA 31768). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
