It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Hamilton of Moultrie, Georgia, who passed away on June 10, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father William Wesley Hamilton; her sisters, Sandra Hamilton Clark, Bonnie Hamilton Selph and Donna Hamilton; and her granddaughter-in-law Amanda Fletcher Crawford.
She is survived by: her mother Ola Mae James Hamilton of Moultrie; her daughters, Kimberly Jean Barden of Moultrie and Cheryl Lynn Powell of Valdosta; her grandchildren, Brandon, Joyce Crawford, Saber, Rashaud Simmons Bennett of Atlanta, Candance Taylor of Moultrie, Nathaniel of Moultrie, Heather of Moultrie, Keon Caldwell, Sr. of Moultrie, Joshua Wood of Moultrie, Jessica Norris and Clint Fisher; her great grandchildren, Christian, Desa Truelove, Jacob Truelove, Autumn Crawford, Breannah Caldwell, Shane Crawford, Jayanna Truelove and Keon Caldwell, Jr.; and her siblings, Larry Hamilton of Irwin Co, Barbara Mims of Leary, Linda May of Norman Park, Carolyn Delaney (Donnie) of Fernandina, FL, Mary Hamm (Gary) of Moultrie, Debbie Kent (Jerry) of Moultrie, Becky Hamilton Craven (Carroll) of Moultrie and Christy Friar of Adel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
