He is survived by: his wife Edna Dora Lamb Burgess of Moultrie; his children, Jerome Eugene Burgess, Kim Collins (Mary) of Orlando and Kathy Faircloth (Lester) of Quitman; his grandchildren, Jessie Moore (Kaleb) of Moultrie, Hunter Burgess of Pavo, Walker Burgess of Pavo and Shelby Montgomery (Daniel) of Quitman; and his great grandchild Dallas Moore.
